Meet Roger Monk

About Roger

Born in Adelaide, Roger Monk grew up in country South Australia. Following many years in banking and five years in management development for one of Australia’s largest automotive manufacturers, Roger joined the University of South Australia, specializing in Human Resources, Managerial and organisational behaviour and work-related psychology.

With the university Roger enjoyed travel to Hong Kong and Singapore on a regular basis. He especially, enjoyed his final decade with the university, supervising doctoral students, one to one. It was during this time that he crafted a multitude of laboriously researched words relating to people at work, his greatest interest.

Roger is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and is the holder of a Masters degree in Organisational Behaviour, an MBA and a Doctorate in human and Organisational Psychology.

Roger’s love of crime novels and his passionate interest in the behaviours of people at work led him into the world of writing.
